Euxton kicked off the first half and pressed hard with much of the possession, an early long range shot from Dynamo went wide of Euxton's left hand post. Euxton maintained possession, Olivia and Hannah at the back moved the ball confidently to Ruth, Maddie and Jenny in midfield creating a couple of opportunities, which Dynamo defended well. Late in the period Dynamo attacked, the finish produced a great save from Stacey and the half ended without score. No team changes were made for the start of the second half and Euxton, once again, started strong with good possesion. After 5 mins and following a foul,Dynamo were awarded a free kick just outside the box, it was struck well, hitting the right hand upright and deflecting out of play. 15 minutes into the alf an Euxton corner was initially cleared by Dynamo but the ball was egained by Euxton and passed out to the left wing and was struck cleanly >by Jade>finishing in the top left corner of the Dynamo goal, the keeper was rooted to the ground.A couple of minutes later a second shot from Maddie was placed>just wide of Dynamos right hand post. With a couple of minutes to go Dynamo were awarded another free kick>following a dubious handball decision, again it was struck well but this time the>shot was on target finishing high in the back of the net, leveling the score, both sides pushed on for a winner in the remaining few minutes but the game>finished 1:1This was a great team effort by all the girls,in the first league match of>their first season together.Girl of the match is awarded to Jenny, for strong tackling and 110% effort>throught the match.

REPORT

Golborne kicked off and pressed towards the Euxton goal. Solid defending from Olivia and Hannah at a couple of corners kept Golborne at bay. Euxton then began to play some attractive football with some good interchanges between Ruth, Maddie and Jade resulting in a couple of shots. One from Maddie which glanced the post and another from Jenny which narrowly missed the left hand post. Golborne counter attacked resulting in a fine save from Stacey.

A bad goal kick by Goborne went straight to Jade who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner (0-1). Constant Euxton pressure then followed but to no avail as the Golborne defence stood firm. Half time 0-1.

Euxton kicked off the second half having made no changes. A mistake by the Golborne right back left Jade to pounce and score with a well hit shot at the near post (0-2). Euxton pressure continued and midway through the second half excellent teamwork led to a one two between Jade and Maddie. Maddie scoring into the bottom corner (0-3).

Golborne pushed forward and a shot from the edge of the box (which Stacey was unlucky not to reach) found the net (1-3). The goal gave Golborne confidence and, if it was not for excellent tackling from Olivia and Hannah, they could have added to their tally. A breakaway from Euxton left Jade wide on the right who cut inside and despatched a right foot shot high into the top corner, a well deserved hat-trick! (1-4). Ian then made a couple of substitutions. Laura came on for Jenny and Elsa replaced Hannah at left back. Both competed well for the remainder of the half. Golborne then battled forward resulting in a well struck shot which left Stacey with no chance of saving (2-4). This was just a consolation goal for Golborne as the referee blew for full-time.

A well earned first victory of the season and this stretches their unbeaten run to 2 games!!

Final Score 2-4.

Girl of the Match

Girl of the match was awarded to Olivia by Phil (Jade?s Dad) who commented ?nothing got passed her and a hard working performance?. Well done Olivia.

Well done girls a hard working team performance.

Written by Jonathan and Jessica Readett
Well what can you say? A match that had everything, commitment from both sets of girls, skill from both sets of girls and most of all was a hugely entertaining spectacle for everyone privileged to be there watching it.

First of all a word for Birkdale, an excellent team who worked very hard and at no point made it easy for our girls. A word especially for there number 9 who made life very difficult for the euxton defenders who had to be on top of their form to be able to contain her.

the game kicked off and Birkdale were soon into their stride only a fine save from the Euxton keeper Stacy prevented them from taking an early lead. A lot of pressure was put on the Euxton defense for the first 15 minutes of the game but a very big up to both Hannah and to Olivia at the back who admirably stuck to their tasks and prevented Birkdale from creating too many chances. The chances that they did get were dealt with very capably in goals by Stacy.

with hard work Euxton gradually forced their way into the game and managed to test the excellent keeper of Birkdale. One shot by Maddie rattled off the woodwork and was close to be putting in the net as the Euxton forwards followed up. Only another great save by the birkdale keeper stopped euxton from taking the lead. However on the stroke of half time Jade finally managed to shake off the well drilled Birkdale defence and managed to fire in a well taken shot low and just inside the near post to make it 1-0.

The second half kicked off and soon the action continued in the same vain of the first half. 2 Minutes in Jenny latched onto a loose ball broke into the penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable shot past the stranded Birkdale keeper. 2-0 to Euxton.

If Euxton thought it was going to be easy from hereon in they were mistaken, Birkdale, to their credit never let their heads drop and continued to put more and more pressure onto the Euxton defence. Suddenly, girl of the game Maddie, broke through and unleashed a pile driver of a shot that rattled the Birkdale post, so unlucky not to have made it 3-0.

Birkdales pressure finally paid off when, with 8 minutes left on the clock, they finally got the goal that their endeavour and fine play had deserved. 2-1 with 8 mins to go.

Birkdale continued to press and it soon became a backs to the wall job as Euxton clung determinedly to their 2-1 lead. 2 mins of extra time and Birkdale managed to get a string of corners with Stacy in goals matching everything that Birkdale could throw at her.

It was with great relief and celebration when the referee finally blew her whistle. Euxton had continued their excellent unbeaten start to the season.

A very big mention to Birkdale. They played the game very very well in an excellent manner and can certainly walk away from this game with their heads held high.

REPORT

This was a superbly entertaining match, keenly contested for the full forty minutes by two skilful, energetic and well-organised teams. Euxton started brightly with great work from Jenny down the right in the first minute, passing to Maddie who shot just wide. Then after more superb work, this time from Ruth down the left, Jade flashed a shot low to the right that was expertly deflected wide by the Burscough defence for a corner. Euxton continued to have the better of the first quarter but the well-drilled Burscough defenders proved equal to the challenge. Burscough got fully into their stride midway through the first half and from then on it was a cracking game. Time and again both defences were tested but held firm. For Euxton, both Hannah and Olivia made a number of strong blocking tackles and measured clearances, turning defence into attack. Chloe made an excellent save and twice showed great awareness by sprinting off her line to snuff-out potential shooting chances. Then on 15 minutes the Burscough No 8 collected the ball on half-way and charged through two tackles before releasing the ball to No 9 in the right channel who kept her cool to slot in a low shot for an excellent goal (0-1). Burscough kept up the pressure with a succession of corners culminating in a powerful shot that whistled just outside the left post. Leading up to half time Euxton began pressing for the equalizer. As always, Ruth battled tirelessly in attack and defence. Maddie made a brilliant run through the middle for Euxton, releasing a pass to Jade who was just beaten to the ball by the Burscough keeper. Half time 0-1.

Euxton again started brightly in the second half. Jenny went on one of her trademark runs down the right wing, riding four tackles before making a pinpoint pass inside. The ball broke to Jade who charged towards goal only to be fouled in the penalty area. Maddie smashed in the penalty with an unstoppable strike high to the left (1-1). Now it was Euxton who applied the pressure. Maddie and Jade combined brilliantly to force a save. From the corner the ball broke to Maddie who, starting with her with her back to goal, turned and struck a right foot shot that took a deflection before looping over the keeper into the goal (2-1). Now it was Burscough pressing for an equaliser. Chloe made a brilliant save and then a well taken catch from a long range shot. Burscough forced five consecutive corners but just could not find a way past the Euxton defence where Ruth, Olivia, Jade and Hannah all made decisive clearances. Jade then collected the ball in her own half and broke out down the right only to be forced out over the dead ball line. Maddie completed her hat trick with a top-class goal that was all her own work. She pounced on a clearance then launched a pin-point strike which looped just under the crossbar from long range (3-1). 12 minutes into the half Hannah switched to right midfield and Jenny was replaced by Stacey who went to left back. Stacey was immediately into the action demonstrating terrier-like defence and also making intelligent passes. Burscough resumed the pressure, this time forcing 6 consecutive corners before Chloe saved bravely following a goalmouth scramble. With six minutes left Lora replaced Jade up-front. Ruth made a number of strong runs through the middle. Lora and Maddie combined well up-front and with a little more luck could have both scored.

This was an exciting match played in superb spirit and it really was a pleasure to watch ? many thanks to both teams!

The girl-of-the-game award is often hard to decide but today it must have been even harder than usual with all the 9 girls doing exceptionally well. Special mention goes to Maddie for her hat trick, Olivia for rock-solid defending and Ruth who must be a close-contender every week. But girl-of-the-game this week went to Hannah.

Final Score 3-1.

Girl of the Match: Hannah.

REPORT

This was a pulsating, closely contested match between two well-organised teams. Euxtons first move came from good work by Maddie through the middle before passing right for Jade who shot just wide of the left post. After 5 minutes Litherlands number 2 showed great bravery playing on after the ball struck her square in the face. For Euxton, Ruth seemed to be involved in everything. She took the ball down the left before passing to Jenny whos shot skimmed to right hand post. Ruth then tested the Litherland keeper twice within two minutes with long range shots. Litherland also launched a number of attacks but with Hannah making two long clearances and then Olivia working hard in denying any passage to the excellent Litherland number 8, the Euxton defence stood firm. Litherland began to apply pressure and won a number of corners and for a while Euxton had to defend in numbers. Maddie in particular showed great tracking-back to make a crucial tackle on the Litherland number 7. After 10 minutes the number 7 released a rocket shot from long range but Stacey, in goal for Euxton, made a magnificent save. On 13 minutes Euxton forced their first corner from a great shot by Maddie that was well blocked. The rest of the first half was end-to-end with both teams testing each others well drilled defences. Olivia made a number of crucial interceptions and again showed great coolness in shepherding the ball out under pressure again from the Litherland number 8. Hannah made an excellent tackle then fed the ball to Ruth who passed to Jade whos shot was well saved by the superb Litherland keeper. Maddie also made a strong driving run down the left, riding two tackles before being denied a shot on goal by a great tackle from the Litherland number 5. Half-time 0-0.

Euxton made the brighter start in the second half. A flowing move down the right involving Maddie, Jade and Jenny forced a corner, and for a while Euxton applied pressure but the resolute Litherland defence denied Euxton any clear scoring opportunities. Litherland remained a threat, Olivia made a succession of critical tackles as the Litherland numbers 7 and 8 broke down the Euxton right. Stacey made a brave save following a goalmouth scramble from a corner. 3 minutes into the second half Niamh replaced Jenny at right wing and made an immediate impression, flying down the touchline before sending a pass into space for Maddie, who was only denied by the lightening reactions of the Litherland goalkeeper coming off her line to just win the race to the ball. The game continued finely balanced at 0-0 with both teams pressing as hard as they could but retaining their shape and discipline superbly. This cannot be said for the coaches and fans who lived every moment with hearts in mouths and nerves etched on their faces. Jade did her best to relieve the pressure with humour by pretending to mistake the corner flag for the ball. With three minutes left to play Hannah won the ball in the left back position, rounded the Litherland winger then passed forward to Jade who spun and passed to Maddie who in-turn fed Niamh whos shot was parried for a corner. Niamh then played the corner perfectly, straight to Jade who struck a fantastic first time shot low inside the post leaving the keeper no chance. 0-1 to Euxton who held on to win the game.

This was another exciting match and could hardly have been closer. Both teams deserve tremendous credit for the quality of performance and the superb spirit in which they played the game. In the end a passage of inspired quality play by Euxton just nicked it, but the game, which really was a pleasure to watch, could have gone either way. A big thank you to both teams.

Special mention goes to Stacey who made a number great saves, and to Niamh who made a big impact on her debut. The girl-of-the-game award is selected by the coaches but I dont think there was any doubt about the deserved winner today being Ruth who throughout the game was immense for Euxton, she led by example and in an otherwise finely balanced game she undoubtedly won the crucial midfield battle and set the platform for the Euxton win.

Final Score Euxton won 0-1.

Report

Taking into consideration the current league positions this match was destined to be a great game, and we were not disappointed.

First Half

Euxton kicked off the first half and within the first minute, having kept possession, created an early chance for Maddie, her shot placed just wide of the Crosby Stuart goal. From the resulting goal kick Crosby Stuart threaded the ball forward skillfully and accurately, they penetrated the Euxton defence and were clear on goal, a powerful strike from the Crosby Stuart forward was collected confidently by Stacey.

Substitution: Jenny off Niamh on.

For the next couple of minutes Crosby Stuart continued to press for the opener. A series of attacks followed but Olivia and Hannah in the Euxton defence were solid and up to the task, but despite all their efforts 5 minutes into the half Crosby Stuart broke through, quickly intercepting a goal kick and hammering the ball into the back of the net, giving Stacey no chance to position herself to make the save. 0-1

Euxton replied immediately from the kick off, driving forward they broke through the Crosby Stuart defence and after a goal mouth scramble Maddie poked the ball passed the keeper to make the score level at 1-1

For the next 10 minutes both teams battled hard creating scoring opportunities from all areas of the field, Ruth, once again demonstrated great leadership and strength in midfield, Jade, Niamh and Maddie worked hard to create scoring opportunities for Euxton, Olivia and Hannah at the back and Stacey in goal were both courageous and effective when defending a number of attacks from Crosby Stuart.

And then the breakthrough, a run of great play from Crosby Stuart resulted in three goals on 17, 18 and 19 minutes making the score 1- 4 as the half time whistle blew.

Second Half

The earlier substitution was reversed for the second half, and as they had finished in the first session of play, Crosby Stuart dominated the start, Euxton struggled to gain and maintain possession, and only a number of brave saves form Stacey in the opening couple of minutes prevented Crosby Stuart from extending their lead.

Euxton settled a little and having possession worked the ball up field and eventually to Maddie, her shot going just wide of the RH post.

Substitution: Jenny and Jade off, Bethany and Niamh on.

Crosby Stuart were now in the ascendancy keeping possession, with accurate passing and control of the ball, they pushed forward once more and with 5 minutes of the second half gone they slotted in number five. 1-5

For the next 8 minutes both sides battled hard creating chances at both ends. With just under 7 minutes to the final whistle, Euxton's coach made some further substitutions.

Substitution: Maddie and Olivia off, Jade and Laura on.

Substitutes Bethany and Laura slotted into position well, within 1 minute of the change Euxton attacked keeping possession as they moved up field, the ball eventually found its way to the right boot of Jade and from just inside the box she smashed the ball, top dead centre, into the back off the net, the keeper had no chance. 2-5

From the restart Crosby Stuart came forward again and only for a couple of good saves from Stacey prevented Crosby Stuart from extending their lead further. In the final minutes Ruth suffered a knock to her ankle and could take no further part, Maddie went on to make up the numbers but the clock had run down and the final whistle blew.

Final score Euxton 2 Crosby Stuart 5

This was a great game of football; the two teams displayed good skill and determination, and also great character and will. Thanks to both teams for a very entertaining match, and congratulations to Crosby Stuart on maintaining their unbeaten record. Recognition for notable performances during the match goes to Ruth for Euxton and to Crosby Stuart's No 4 and No 7

A special mention to Ruth, who demonstrated great courage in taking part in this match, and for being totally committed throughout. Well done Ruth!!

Cup Match V Litherland
Result: Litherland 0 Euxton Girls 1
This was a well contested match against a side who were superb defensively, despite being depleted in numbers. All credit to the girls of Litherland who gave their all in this match.

Euxton made a strong start against a team of 6 players. Maddie made some great breaks down the left wing early on making Litherland's keeper work hard. She forced several corners from her shots. Strong play from Niamh, Jade and Maddie kept Euxton with the upper hand and when Litherland did break, both Jenny and Olivia showed some excellent defending, leaving Stacey with little to do. Niamh showed some super play, turning a player in the 6 yard box. Ruth chested the ball down and had a shot, just going wide of the net. Maddie made some great solo runs throughout the half. Eventually, Maddie's efforts paid off and she scored a super goal ( Happy Birthday Maddie!).

Shortly after the goal, Jade was badly injured in the box and had to leave the field to be replaced by Bethany. Litherland were down to 5 players temporarily. The half ended with another of Maddie's shots hitting the crossbar and just going over.
Half time 0-1

Litherland kicked off the second half and a good exchange between Niamh and Maddie ended with a shot into the side netting. Confident play from Bethany led to another run by Maddie which forced a corner. Bethany was replaced by Lora who continued to work hard, and the half continued with some great goal mouth play. Olivia stopped a Litherland 1 on 1 run. Ruth showed some good holding play. Niamh made a great run, only denied by the efforts of the Litherland No. 7.

Sadly, with 5 minutes left on the clock, Litherland were forced to concede the match as they had 2 injured players.

Girl of the game was awarded to Niamh. Well done!

Yet another well contested match between two very competitive teams finally saw Euxton progress to their second semi-final within a week.

The first half started brightly for Golborne forcing two early corners. One of which was solidly dealt with by Olivia, the other being cleared by Maddie and Jenny, both back helping to defend the early Golborne pressure.

The girls started to find their feet and some good interchanges between Ruth, Jenny and Maddie resulted in a shot just wide from Maddie. Further Euxton pressure followed. Maddie raced down the left hand side, cut back and crossed the ball into the danger zone only for Jenny to see her shot charged down and cleared.

A midfield stalemate then followed for 5 minutes with few chances to either team with the exception of one Golborne corner which ended with a fine save from Stacey.

Jenny made way for Niamh to come on. She made an immediate impression forcing Golborne to concede a free kick on the edge of their box after a foul on Jade. The free kick was hit well by Maddie but was deflected wide for a corner which came to nothing.

HT 0-0

Golborne kicked off the second half and had the advantage of the slight slope on the pitch. If anything this spurred the determined Euxton Girls on. A long throw from Ruth found Niamh who?s left foot shot was just wide. Further shots from Maddie and Jade both failed to find the target and supporters began to feel it was going to be one of those days. However, we shouldn?t have worried, a combination of passes found Jade on the edge of the box and a well struck shot nestled in the bottom left hand corner. 1-0.

A reversal of the substitution earlier saw Jenny return for the hard working Niamh.

Golborne started searching for the equaliser and both Hannah and Olivia had to be at their competitive best to cancel out the Golborne attacks. One challenge from Olivia stood out and surely saved a certain goal for Golborne.

A bit of magic from Maddie saw her beat two players and rifle a shot in. This looked as though it would win it for Euxton but the Golborne keeper produced an outstanding save.

Niamh made her second appearance of the morning, replacing Jade who had run her little legs off!

Euxton continued to search for the second goal and were rewarded when Maddie broke away down the left and hit a right footed shot through a crowded area into the net. 2-0

The girls were starting to tire and a double substitution saw Maddie come off for Beth and Hannah make way for Laura, giving them valuable match experience. They both competed well for the remainder of the match.

A special mention to Golborne who played the game in the right spirit and competed well for the full 40 minutes.

Girl of the game was awarded to Olivia by Graham who commented ?she saved us on more than one occasion? but as always it was a complete team effort and a very hard working performance from a great bunch of girls. Very well done and roll on the semis!!

A big hello to Barry, Jennys dad, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, but we know he reads all the reports on the website and looks forward to hearing the results. Your girls doing you proud!! Keep up the good work and see you soon.

Match report for Sunday 30th March 2008

Euxton Girls 0  Dynamo Rangers  0

This match was played at Dynamo Rangers home ground as Greenside was yet again waterlogged.
On a bright and sunny day with a cold breeze blowing across the pitch, which favoured no team,  the pitch was playing well and both teams were struggling for supremacy, 5 minutes into the game and first Jade then Jenny came close to opening the scoring.  Olivia in the meantime was as solid as ever in defence and Stacey was looking safe in the nets.  10 minutes and Jade was substituted by Megan who showed her strong running down the right side and helped push to Rangers onto their back foot.  The next sub came when Maddy was taken off and back on came Jade for the final few minutes of the first half of the game With the clocks going forward at 2am, Euxton played the first half as though they were still in bed trying to catch up the lost hour but the first half finished with honours.

 SCORE  0  -  0

Time for half time team talk and coach Graham read the team the riot act and his efforts were rewarded with a much better performance from all the girls, and soon after the second half kickoff Stacey was called into action and it was becoming obvious that one goal could win the game for either team and it was end to end football.  Euxton, with Maddy back, started to pressure Rangers and Jenny sent Maddy away but her effort just missed the upright and soon after with time running out Maddy and Jenny linked up again and it was Jenny who went very close with a crisp shot. It was finally looking as though the coaching sessions the girls had been put through were now dropping into place and after yet another Maddy and Jenny link up it was Maddy who went close.  With the final whistle blowing it was a fair result.  Coach Graham awarded the Girl of the Match to joint winners Stacey and Jenny.

REPORT

This was a an entertaining and closely contested match played in great spirit by two skilful and energetic teams. The first half was filled with exciting end-to-end action. For Euxton, Jade, Maddie and Jenny had good runs to threaten the Golborne goal but just could not get clean shooting opportunities. Golborne had the best shot of the opening quarter following a break down the left, magnificently saved by Stacey. Euxton opened the scoring after 15 minutes when a good corner from Jenny caused havoc in the Golborne defence allowing Maddie to finish well from the inside right position (1-0). Niamh then replaced Jenny on the right wing. Euxton were forced to work very hard in defence to protect their lead. Hannah and Olivia both made telling clearances and covered well for each other. Ruth as always worked tirelessly in attack and defence. Towards the end of the first half Euxton started to apply pressure with a series of excellent attacking moves. Jade had several excellent runs down the left and the centre channels. Niamh made a powerful run down the right and passed to Jade whos shot was well saved by the Golborne keeper. The keeper also reacted superbly to save Niamhs shot from the rebound. Ruth wrong-footed her opposite number in centre midfield with a great turn and pass to Maddie on the left, who crossed to Niamh who was just denied by the excellent Golborne number 3 in defence. Maddie again broke well down the left and crossed into Niamh who this time was just beaten to the ball by the Golborne keeper. Half-time 1-0.

For the second half Jenny returned in place of Niamh. The Golborne number 11 also returned to the action and had two fiercely struck shots, one hitting the post and the other brilliantly saved by Stacey. The Euxton defensive unit of Olivia and Hannah, helped by Ruth, continued to impress. Several promising Golborne attacks were coolly defended by Euxton, often with good passes forward to prompt new Euxton attacks. Maddie and Ruth both had good long-range shots saved by the impressive Golborne keeper. Niamh again replaced Jenny, who returned quickly for Hannah. Ruth passed well to Niamh who took the ball forward and scored with an unstoppable shot into the bottom right corner (2-0). Elsa, on for Olivia, made some strong challenges and ensured that the new defensive line-up for Euxton continued the excellent work. Lora replaced Jade and made an immediate impact down the right. She combined well with Niamh to force a good shooting opportunity but again the Golborne keeper reacted quickly to deny Euxton.

Thanks very much to both teams for a fantastically entertaining match and a real nail-biter with many chances falling to both teams. Special mention today goes to Stacey in goal for Euxton who didn?t put a foot wrong and made two top-class saves, possibly making the difference between the teams on the day. For Golborne, their goalkeeper also had an excellent game and number 11 and number 3 were outstanding. For Euxton, the girl-of-the-game award as selected by the coaches went to the whole team for a superb team effort.

Final Score 2-0.

Girl of the Match: Whole Team.

Well done girls, keep it up next week.

Birkdale v Euxton U10s
Stacey
Olivia, Hannah.
Maddie, Ruth
Naimh/Jenny/Jade/Laura/Beth

The game started on a surprisingly good pitch, very quickly euxton took the lead a through pass from jade saw Maddie through onto the byeline a rasping cross saw the ball deflected into the Birkdale net by the unlucky Birkdale Keeper. With the defence of Olivia and Hannah holding the back line really well it wasn?t long before Euxton made it 2-0 another through ball saw Maddie through and this time slotted well into the bottom left corner. It was beginning to look like this game might become a rout but every credit to Birkdale, who gave us a fantastic game earlier in the season, for battling their way back int o the game.

In the second half, with the wind behind their backs, birkdale made raid after raid on the Euxton defence, however the defensive partnership of Olivia and Hannah managed to hold firm ably aided by the industrious ruth who once again seemed to cover every blade of the grass.

Birkdale finally broke through with about 10 mins to go to make it 2-1. The last 10 mins were very nervewracking with Birkdale throwing everything bar the kitchen sink at Euxton, the girls somehow managed to withstand the pressure and was with great relief when the final whistle was blown.

Once again a very big up to Birkdale who played the game in the right manner and were very very gutsy with no shortage of skill.

Well done girls on another very hard earned 3 points

This is not a match report more a report on the girls' character. I, as a Grandfather of Jenny, have enjoyed watching the team train on Friday evenings and have noticed and watched the development of the skills and also the wonderful camaraderie between them, all thanks to their coaches, Graham and Ian.
After what must have been a soul destroying defeat on Saturday the girls bounced back in style on the Sunday, Coach Graham changed the formation of the team and the whole team took heed of his instructions and each and every one gave 110% and girls YOU deserve to have won but again the way in which you took defeat spoke volumes for your tremendous character.
